Mark your calendars--Friday Night June 26th Trail class, Obstacle Course, 75 up and back June 27th Trail ride on Madinaw Pass Meet at exit 83 at 7 am Pack a lunch. July 3rd Western pleasure, Goat tail tying, barrels, poles. July 10th Stock seat equitation, barrels, flags, 75 up and back. July 17th Command, Keyhole, Jelly fish, poles. July 24th Western Pleasure, Stake race, Quadrille, Loop D Loop. July 31st Reining, Flags, Barrels, 75 up and back.
We are now offering Cathy's Pony Rides with a pony wheel. This week we will have the rides on Wednesday and Thursday during the evenings and on Sunday from 1 til 6. We are also available for private parties, fairs, family reunions and other functions.
We have come up with an obstacle course for riders. Please memorize the pattern below and be ready to participate.
We start with one FREE judged event, followed by three speed events. $2 per class, member---$5 per class non-members. Memberships $50 for Immediate family memberships---$35 for individual memberships. Age groups--Lead line (ribbons only) 12 and under, 13-17, 18 and over. Pay back on all speed event and age divisions on Friday night rides. Non members alwaysw welcomed. Memberships accepted the entire season. New--goat tying for age divisions and Lollipop goat ribbon race for the little ones. Rides start 1st Friday in March til the last Friday in October. The WalkaMile Cafe open during all events at the arena. Open to the public and loaded with great food. Specials include Burritos, burgers, nachos, fries, (great) Green chile. don't forget to ask for daily goodies not on the printed menu. (You also get to see chef les and his phamous phlipper phlip phranfurters on the phlaming grill) serving breakfast and lunch and dinner during events.
