WOW---Click here to see prizes for the buckle series

Hi everyone.

The season has gotten rolling. Last weekend we had a great turn out. Please sign up as soon as you get here. That helps Cathy in the office get everything lined up. We have added a 50 and over age group and after talking to all the men, we are going to add a mens class.

As you know we are also planning a Buckle Series and here are some of the dates I have selected. As you know it is very hard trying to schedule around other events but we tried. It will be a series of 5. We will award prizes through 6th place and have four age groups. We will have 4 events, flags, keyhole, barrels and poles. $10 per event plus $5 office charge. We will start at 10 am, April 21st, April 28th, May 26th,June 23rd,and July 21st. This Sunday at the 4-S Gathering we will have Barry Ward as guest speaker and singer. Anyone is welcome. Following the pot luck after the service , there will be a Saddle Roping put on by the 4-S Gathering.

We are also doing Zumba classes at the church barn on Tues and Weds. evening, 5:30 to 6:30. Come on out, we can all use the exercise and it is fun. This evening Weds. Zumba at the barn and at the Songbird Cafe in Beulah, The Kempters Bluegrass Band will be performing. If I didn't have zumba and Bible study, I would so be there. I am also on facebook and I post a lot of what's going on on there. Its Walkamile Arena. so check that out. Also West Pueblo Saddle Club will start their season here in June.

This is a real fun club and we are glad to have them back again and they are still accepting new members. There is also another club called The Pueblo West Horsemens Association and they are mainly a trail riding group. They are also accepting new members. I guess that's all for now and please feel free to forward this information to any one that might be interested. I would like to thank our current sponsors for their generous donations. Doug Helzer, Centennial Insurance, Scott Warner, Farrier, Beth Montoya Red Neck Rein Co, and Gwyn and Robert Youngblood. I am still accepting sponsors for the Buckle Series and for Friday night rides so if you know of any one that might like to sponsor, please have them contact me. And Please, if Byou are interested in the shots, let me know.

Thanks. God Bless and ride safe.

West Pueblo Saddle Club will be riding out here again this year. They ride on Thursday nights. They do 2 speed events and one judged and then they do 2 judged and 1 speed and so on. They give year end awards.I have their contact number or you can go to their website for more info. This is really a nice club.
If you have any questions, give me a call 947-3248 or email me.

Thanks, Phyllis
